Christmas is over

This Christmas was pretty interesting, but alot of fun! We went to Alpine this year. There was tons of snow, and it snowed quite a bit while we were there. the night before we left Talin got sick and was throwing up all night, and then on saturday me and Darrell got sick. His mom and dad took care of Talin all night. It was not fun to be sick, and for me it was so hard not to have Talin next to me at night! Other than that we had tons of fun. We went sledding and it was freezing! Im such a baby when it comes to cold, I can only be outside for so long before I feel like im freezing to death. Talin didn't seem to like being cold either, but he loved picking up snow in his hands and throwing it. We took tons of pictures so we would not forget Talin's first Christmas.

Engaged

My little sister Aimee is engaged! We are so excited for them! her fiance Mike is so awesome, and we are so excited to have him as part of the family!

We were laying in the back of his truck just talking and looking at the stars, and then Darrell slipped one in. And lets just say I was not mad!

We dated for 3 mo, got engaged, and then were married 3 mo later.

*WHERE DID YOU GET ENGAGED?
Dec. 11 2004, Darrell asked to me marry him while were at the temple lights sitting on a bench in front of the temple.

Mesa Arizona Temple

*HOW DID THE RECEPTION GO?
It was beautiful, both of them were! I didn't get to enjoy the food because I was just so excited to be married.

*THE HONEYMOON?
We went to Darrell's family cabin in Alpine, and went snowboarding, and so on.....

Puppies

Today my dog Belle Bottom had her puppies, and it is a pretty funny story! Belle is the kind of dog who has to be around people and loves to sleep under covers. So today I could tell she was getting ready to have her puppies because I went into our room and she ran out of the bedroom right into my parents room and under their covers while they were all in there watching a movie. I looked over at her bed in our room and it was all messed up like she was trying to get all situated, so I figured it could be any day! My parents were in their bed and belle never made a sound, but my dad heard a yelp, and turned to my mom and was like "did you just hear a puppy?" so my dad lifted up the covers and sure enough there was a puppy. My dad came running out of the room to put all the other dogs that were in there outside, and told me that belle was having her puppies. I didn't believe him, but I ran in there and saw! it was so amazing! I have never seen a dog have puppies, but that was so cool. Belle knew exactly what to do, I was so proud of her! She had 7 puppies, but the last one was a runt, and it did not make it. it tried so hard to live, and did good all day, but tonight it died. I don't handle stuff like that very well. I get attached. Me and my sister Aimee were crying, so her boyfriend Mike said a prayer that the puppy would not suffer in pain. I know that sounds funny, but I wanted so bad for all of them to live! they are so cute! They may be muts, but they are still cute!

Temple Lights

Me and my family went and saw the temple lights last night! beautiful as always! It was Talin's first time and he loved them! he thought he was older than he is, because he just wanted to walk around like everyone else. The only thing is it was FREEZING! im a baby though when it comes to cold! Im ALWAYS cold.

I love Christmas

Christmas is my favorite time of the year, but this year is so much more special then any other christmas, because It is Talin's first Christmas! I love this holiday because it is beautiful weather and everyone seems to be a bit more cheery (except some people). I love the smells of christmas, and I absolutly love the music, it makes the mood so much better! The only thing for me is I hate the shopping, but don't get me wrong I love getting gifts for people I just hate the crowds, and the stress of hoping I give people the gift they want.
so the other day we set up the christmas tree and it was so much fun! I love that part. I love walking down the stairs in the mornings and seeing the christmas tree all lit up, it makes me want to snuggle up with a blanket and my 2 favorite people and just relax next to the tree while music is playing, but then reality hits and I have to get ready to go to work! Oh and I can't forget this for the past week Talin has been balancing on his own and taking a step, but then falls. On thursday, 11/29/07 Talin took like 6 steps!! My baby is WALKING!! it is so awesome to see, but also sad because he is growing up, and becoming less dependant on me. Even though he is not a full time walker yet, but he knows how to do it. Im so proud of him. He is such a big boy, but yet only 9 mo old!
Anyways I thought I would post some of the christmas tree decorating we did on sunday.
