catchin up

It's been quite awhile since I have posted anything, and since Talin is asleep I actually have some free time. Since Christmas we have been busy just trying to keep up with life, and the changes in it. Darrell works full time and goes to school full time, so I NEVER see him anymore it feels like, but im not complaining because it will all be worth it in the end. Talin is growing up so fast, I wish I could slow time, just for that one reason! he teaches me patience. I have come to realize that I never had patience before him. I think he enjoys tormenting me, lol! but I am so glad that all the good things, and cute things, and funny things he says all take over the bad things! Since the whole finger situation I wish I could say he has calmed down a bit with his crazy activeness ways.... but I can't! he does not learn his lessons. I have also started trying to do timeouts with him, and I wish I could say he actually stays in the corner and takes me seriously.... but I can't. He thinks its a game. He goes "ok mom your turn...get in timeout now" WOW is all I got to say! do they ever learn to take you seriously all you moms out there?? Because the second Darrell gets after him, he is an angel! whats that all about???
As for me, I am still working full time (yuck) but I can get through one more year, because the outcome will be me staying home and taking care of Talin and whatever babies I have (cross your fingers). OH I did have an experience this month that I do not wish upon anyone! I tried a new face wash that I have never used before, and then I used this stuff I had I think it is kinda like a toner... well ya that did not turn out so well. Instead of clearing up my face, I tormented it! My face hurt so bad! it was swollen, red, and VERY VERY dry for like 5 days! I was miserable. I lived with an Ice pack because it was the only thing that gave me relief. It was my oxygen! ya never again! I will stick with the stuff I know! because a chemical burn is not my ideal of clearing up my face! Well I think that is about all for now.I was going through some of my pictures that I have not posted on here before and thought I would put some up, since we all know that pictures is the best part of the blog, hehe! at least for me it is... there is no order to them whatsoever, so just enjoy!

Poor little pinky..

On monday night, while I was watching The Bachelor... yes I watch the bachelor, lol! Anyways, Talin was playing on the ottemon next to me, and being his WAY active self, and fell backwards, I guess he tried to catch himself with his hand and hurt his little pinky finger Really bad! I was freaking out because his pinky looked like it was pointing the wrong direction from the rest of his hand! I woke Darrell up cause Talin would not stop screaming. Needless to say we thought he broke it. the next morning we took him to the doctor, and had x-rays. It was not broken thank goodness, because If it was he would have had to had surgery and put pins in it, because he is so young, and something to do with the growth. It still looks pretty bad, because of the coloring, but the swelling has definetly gone down, and Talin is now using that hand again, but not the pinky. here are a few pics of his poor hand. Oh and don't mind the long fingernails... he hardly ever lets me clip them, I think he doesn't trust me, like I might clip off his finger or something. lol!
